        2.1 Set result

    3 „Set with advantage“

        4.1 Match result

        4.2 Serving and receiving player

Result in “standard game” is reported in the way indicated below, announcing the result of serving player first:

in the beginning of the game – „0“

    first point – „15“

    second point – „30“

    third point – „40“

    fourth point – „game“

In case a player/doubles wins three points each, “draw” is announced. On following point, there is “advantage” for the respective player/doubles. If the same player/doubles wins one more point, he/they win the game. If it is done by the other player/doubles, again there is a „draw“.

„Tie-break game“

During this game, points announced are 0,1,2,3 and so on. Player/doubles won the first seven points, wins the game and the set, on condition that he/they lead in the result by minimum 2 points.

Tie-break continues until this condition is fulfilled.

Player, whose turn is to serve, will serve for the first point in the tie-break. His opponent (in the play per doubles, the opponent player, whose turn is to serve), will serve for the second and third point. After that, each player/doubles will take turns to serve for two consecutive points until the end of this game (on doubles, change of the serving player should be kept in the order that has been during the set)

Player/doubles whose turn was to serve first in the tie-break, will receive in the first game of the next set.

Additionally approved alternative procedures are given in Application 4.

Set result

There are various systems for reporting the result in the set. Both basic systems are „long set“  and tie-break set“. The chosen system for reporting the set should be announced prior the beginning of the tournament. If „tie-break set“  is to be used, then the way of playing the third set of the match should be specified (as „ set with advantage” or „tie-break set“).

„Set with advantage“

Player/doubles, who wins 6 games first, wins the set too, on the condition that the difference is minimum 2 games in favour of him. When necessary, the set continues until reaching this difference.

„Tie-break set“

Player/doubles, who wins 6 games first, wins the set too, on the condition that the difference is minimum 2 games in favour of him.  If the result becomes 6 games, then tie-break is to be played.

Additionally approved alternative procedures are given in Application 4.

Result in the match

One match could be played in 2 or 3 sets (player/doubles,who wins 2 sets first, wins the match too) or in 3 of 5 sets (player/doubles, who wins 3 sets first, wins the match).

Additionally approved alternative procedures are given in Application 4.

Serving and receiving player

Player/doubles should stand on both opposite sides of the net. Player who executes the first shot is called a serving one. The other player who is ready to return the ball to the serving one is called a receiving player.

First case: Is it allowed to the receiving player to stand outside the outline of the court?

Decision: Yes. The receiving player could stand where he likes in the outline of the court or outside it on his side of the net.
